Legendary hitman John Wick is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome, where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.

Fifty Shades Darker

Following the events of Fifty Shades of Grey, Anastasia “Ana” Steele tries to move on from her relationship with Christian Grey. A wounded Christian convinces her to resume their romance under Ana’s conditions. As the couple begins their normal relationship, Christian’s past threatens to tear the couple apart.

Who’s going to win the weekend, the right answer is John Wick number two, but those housewives love that softcore porn, so the gloves (whips?) will be out for a solid ‘king of the box office’ fight.

 

Screenplays – Dune

At the time of writing, Denis Villeneuve has been selected to direct a new big screen adaption of the classic sci-fi series, Dune (a series so large, it’s put me off starting to read it). We’ve been treated to a number of adaptions of this incredibly popular series of books, the 80’s film, directed by David Lunch, I believe to be a masterpiece. Continue reading

After a wholesome teen birthday party, three girls are kidnapped in broad daylight: friends Claire (Haley Lu Richardson) and Marcia (Jessica Sula), and difficult outsider Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy). Screenplays – Wonder Woman

A Wonder Woman film of some sort has been bouncing around various directors and writers for decades. Studios seem to want to make one, but no one seems to be able to get one off the ground.

At the beginning of 2001, producer Joel Silver approached screenwriter Todd Alcott to step up to the task with Silver Pictures backing the project. At the time, names such as Megan Fox, Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta-Jones were rumored to be up for the role.  Continue reading
